Graduate Field Experience
As a graduate student in the School of Education, you will have opportunities to work directly with students in classrooms before graduation.
To be placed in a school for fieldwork, contact Vasilika Tsichlis to schedule an appointment and fill out the field placement preference form. For every 35 hours you spend at fieldwork, you will earn one credit hour. Time is kept in a fieldwork log and should be included in your Office of Field Experience folder.
You will need to complete the following clearance documents and share them in your SOE Field Office Google folder before attending a site:
- Code of Ethics
- Release of Information form
- FBI Background Check and Missouri Child Abuse and Neglect Check Process
- Tuberculosis test results
- Placement preference form
- Protecting God's Children
Your folder will be named: your last name, your first name SOE Office of Field Experience. If you do not have an SOE field office Google folder, please contact Vasilika Tsichlis.
