Licensure

SLU’s School of Social Work will prepare you for your career, but graduation is not the end of your education. Most social work careers require licensure. Requirements vary by state, organization and services provided. Some licensure organizations even offer different levels of certification depending on an applicant’s experience and education level.

For information on licensure in other states and nationally, visit the National Association of Social Workers and the Association of Social Work Boards.
