Transcripts
Transcripts are the official record of your Saint Louis University courses, course titles and the credits and grades that you earned.
SLU has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse to offer current students and alumni official electronic transcripts (eTranscripts) in PDF format.
These transcripts are considered official documents and have been digitally signed and certified by Saint Louis University and the National Student Clearinghouse.
A document that contains a digital signature can be instantly validated. A document with a validated signature displays a blue ribbon on the notification bar across the top of the Adobe Acrobat Reader or Pro.
Electronic transcripts are usually processed within 24 hours, while paper transcript requests are usually processed within seven to 10 days.
Learn How to Request a Transcript
Campus offices may place transcript holds on students records due to outstanding financial obligations or missing documentation/information.

Your unofficial, web-based transcript can be viewed through Banner Self-Service - Student using the following steps:

- Search for and click on "Banner Self-Service - Student."
- Click on the "Unofficial Academic Transcript" link.
Any transfer credit will appear near the top of the academic transcript. The SLU equivalent course will display on the transcript. Any courses that were not transferred or are currently being evaluated will not display on the transcript.

A valid email is required for delivery of eTranscripts. Please check with the recipient to determine if they will accept eTranscripts as official documents.
Upon opening the document, the digital certificate will appear in a pop-up screen or status bar on the document, display a blue ribbon, and declare that the document was certified by Document Services, National Student Clearinghouse, Inc., certificate issued by GlobalSign. eTranscripts must be opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat Pro.
You have either received an unofficial copy of an eTranscript or you are viewing the eTranscript in software other than Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat Pro.
The Preview application on a Mac will not work with certified eTranscript. You must have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat Pro installed before attempting to open a certified eTranscript. There are known issues with trying to open an eTranscript using Safari as the default browser. We recommend using a different browser, Firefox or Chrome, to open your eTranscript.
The blue-ribbon certification is your assurance that the digital certificate is valid,
the document is authentic and the contents of the transcript have not been altered.
It is not permissible to replicate this document or forward it to any person or organization other than the identified recipient. Release of the record or disclosure of its contents to any third party without written consent of the record owner is prohibited.
Double check the email address you provided when you ordered the eTranscript. Ask the recipient to check their Spam or Junk Mail folder.
The sender can go to the National Student Clearinghouse Transcript Ordering Center to determine if the document has been opened by the recipient. This can be viewed on the Order Status tab.

No, all orders placed are final. Orders cannot be recalled or refunded after an order has been submitted by you.
