The St. Louis Academic Health Department is a coalition between the Saint Louis University College for Public Health and Social Justice, the St. Louis City Health Department and the St. Louis County Health Department. The Academic Health Department is a partnership that promotes the health of all St. Louisans through the lens of equity and social justice.

Geospatial Health Collaborative
The Geospatial Health Collaborative (GHC) at Saint Louis University brings together CPHSJ faculty to study how our location impacts our health opportunities. The research we conduct focuses uses of geospatial science and nontraditional health data to answer complex health issues to identify predictors of poor health opportunities and outcomes. Our SLU faculty use diverse data sources and study different communities, all to develop mechanisms to answer today and tomorrow's health challenges.

Heartland Center for Population Health and Community Systems Development
The Heartland Center for Public Health and Community Systems Development works with academic and practice partners locally and nationally to support a systemic approach to workforce development. The Saint Louis University center assesses competency gaps and provides competency-based professional development courses online or on-site.

The Office of Public Health Practice at Saint Louis University College for Public Health and Social Justice supports community collaboration, internships, alumni development, practice-based research and training. SLU's Office of Public Health Practice was established in 2018 to connect public health faculty and students with community partners to help improve academic public health practice, teaching and practice-based research.

Planning Council Support Office
The purpose of the Planning Council (PC) in the Saint Louis University College for Public Health and Social Justice is to plan for and design the present and future system of care for persons with HIV in a way that is comprehensive, culturally sensitive, and reflective of the metropolitan St. Louis HIV Transitional Grant Area (TGA) community. SLU's PC collaborates with persons and agencies providing other resources to identify and address needs, and to ensure quality, efficiency, effectiveness and continuity of care.
