Rotations

The resident schedule at Saint Louis University is optimized so that our residents spend as much time as possible on plastic surgery.

Starting their first year, residents spend six months off-service and six months on plastic surgery. By PGY-4,  all rotations are on-service. Residents rotate at the following sites throughout their six years.

  • Saint Louis University Hospital: Academic, Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital: Freestanding Pediatric Hospital, Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Mercy St. John’s Hospital: Private Level 1 Trauma Center, ABA Accredited Burn Center
  •  John Cochran Veteran’s Affairs Hospital
  •  St. Mary’s Hospital: Community Teaching Hospital
  •  St. Louis Cosmetic Surgery: Private Practice
