Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care
The Saint Louis University School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care is composed of clinicians, educators and scientists who are committed to quality education and clinical care.
You will find our physicians around and throughout the Saint Louis area, including at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and at several outpatient surgery centers associated with the SSM Health Cardinal Glennon system.
Our physicians serve as educators and academic scientists, training tomorrow's anesthesiologists in the department's residency and fellowship programs, along with nurse anesthetists and anesthesia assistants. A wide variety of clinical cases and a growing program provide ample opportunity for both clinical and basic science research endeavors.
