Multicultural Greek Organizations
The Saint Louis University Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) serves as the governing council for cultural and identity-based fraternities and sororities at SLU.
Each fraternity and sorority within the MGC is founded based upon cultural or identity-based traditions; membership is open to anyone. MGC fosters unity and promotes programming while encouraging the principles of service, academic excellence and siblinghood. MGC represents a quickly growing part of SLU's fraternity and sorority life community with expansion opportunities to come. Currently, the Multicultural Greek Council represents South Asian interest groups but welcomes new opportunities to support SLU students.

Multicultural Greek Council Recruitment Information
Students interested in joining an MGC organization will join through a process known as membership intake. Each chapter's national or international organization defines the intake process and sets the dates. Before the membership process, organizations host an informational session where students have the opportunity to express interest in a specific organization.
Interested students are encouraged to regularly attend events hosted by the organization of interest to be aware of membership opportunities.
