SLU EXP Scholarships

What Are EXP Scholarships?

SLU EXP Scholarships let you earn up to $6,000 toward tuition for select SLU Global Graduate Programs.

  • Scholarships are earned before or during the first year of grad school.
  • Scholarships are redeemed only after enrolling in a qualifying graduate program.
  • They cannot be used for undergraduate programs.

How Much Can I Earn?

When You Can Earn Maximum Amount
Before Graduate School (e.g. high school, undergrad, INTO/Pathway) $4,000
During First Year of Graduate School $2,000
Total Possible $6,000

Note: Regardless of when or how you earn the scholarship, the lifetime cap is $6,000 total.

You can redeem your EXP Scholarships only in the following SLU Global Graduate Programs:

Technology

  • Analytics, M.S.
  • Artificial Intelligence, M.S.
  • Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, M.S.
  • Computer Science, M.S.
  • Cybersecurity, M.S.
  • Information Systems, M.S.
  • Software Engineering, M.S.

Business and Management

  • Applied Financial Economics, M.S.
  • One-Year MBA
  • Project Management, M.S.
  • Supply Chain Management, M.S.

Engineering

  • Biomedical Engineering, M.S.
  • Civil Engineering, M.S.
  • Computer and Electrical Engineering, M.S.
  • Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, M.S.
  • Software Engineering, M.S.

When Can I Redeem My SLU EXP Scholarship?

How to Redeem Your Scholarship

  • Log in to your Excelerate account.
  • Go to Personal Information > Contact Info.
  • Add your SLU email address to the Alternate Email ID field.
  • Even if your SLU email is your primary email for the account, you must add it as your alternate email as well.
  • If you have multiple Excelerate accounts, scholarships will only apply to one account (whichever has the lower scholarship value).

Important Notes

  • EXP scholarships have no cash value and apply only to eligible tuition charges.
  • INTO Graduate Pathway students:
    • EXP money earned during INTO Graduate Pathway counts toward the $4,000 pre-grad max only.
    • You must complete at least two semesters (including Graduate Pathway) and matriculate into a qualifying graduate program.
    • Academic English-only semesters do not count toward the two-semester minimum.
