Academic Technology Commons Software Availability Policy

The primary purpose of the Pius XII Memorial Library’s Academic Technology Commons is to provide access to Library resources such as databases, ejournals, ebooks, and other electronic resources that relate to the Library’s mission.

To further support the research needs of the Saint Louis University community, the Information Commons also provides access to the following University-licensed software:

Specialized computers

Microfilm/Microfiche Scanners:
Two computers in the Information Commons also feature a microfilm scanner. These computers are available for general use, but priority is given to those who need to view or scan microfilm or microfiche. The ScanPro 2000 scanners make microforms easy to view, and the installed software (below) works seamlessly to allow users to adjust image size, brightness, contrast and save images as high-quality PDF files:
