About the Chief of Staff

A key member of the Doisy College of Health Sciences leadership team, Chief of Staff Sayili is responsible for central coordination of DCHS activities. She serves as an administrative partner to the Dean in promoting and advancing the mission of the University and DCHS and in providing high-level support to the Dean in leading his executive leadership team. The Chief of Staff supports the Dean in establishing priorities, coordinating strategic planning, managing the internal operations of the Office of the Dean and administrative support staff, and supporting Dean’s Office Communications, internally and externally. She collaborates with the Vice Dean, Associate Dean for Student and Academic Affairs, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer and departmental chairs to implement strategic initiatives and advance priority projects.

Sayili is a proven higher education leader with expertise in operations, finance, strategic planning, communications and outreach, data management, collaboration, and management of change processes. Prior to joining SLU’s Doisy College of Health Sciences, Sayili was part of the Indiana University Environmental Resilience Institute’s leadership team and spearheaded strategic planning, policy, finance and operations. Sayili was also part of the leadership, operations and project management staff at DePauw University’s Center for Diversity and Inclusion. Apart from several years in higher education, she also brings experience and skills developed during her career in legal consulting.
