  • Combined effect of nutrition and exercise in reducing insulin resistance and improving postprandial metabolism (glycemic control, lipid profile, oxidative stress and inflammation)
  • Functional foods and dietary polyphenols in improving metabolism
  • Exploring molecular mechanisms underlying metabolic diseases (with focus on inflammation, oxidative stress, insulin resistance, and mitochondrial function and biogenesis)
