Saint Louis University's 1818 Advanced College Credit program offers students the opportunity to earn college credit at a discounted rate.

Tuition for the 1818 Program is billed per credit hour. View 1818 tuition rates. Students enrolled in 1818 courses will receive a billing statement by mail and email in mid-October for fall and full-year courses and in late February for spring courses. Families should not attempt to pay until they receive a bill.

How to Pay Your Bill

There are two ways to pay your bills.

Pay Online

To complete an online payment, you will need the  student's banner ID number and tuition amount. If you do not receive this information within a month after the registration period ends (via email or mail), please contact 1818@slu.edu.

After entering the student's Banner ID number and contact information, select the "+enter" button to select one of the following payment methods:

  • Payment via Bank Account
  • Credit Card (payments made by credit card incur a nonrefundable 2.85% fee)

Make a Payment

Payments may be made in custom installments up to the tuition deadline. A confirmation screen and email will confirm successful payment of tuition.

Pay by Mail

You can also pay your tuition bill by mail by writing a check payable to “Saint Louis University.” In the check memo line, put the student's full name and Banner ID number.

Mail your check to:
Saint Louis University
P.O. Box 790165
Saint Louis, MO 63179

Pay with 529 Funds

Families may use their 529 funds to pay for their 1818 Program tuition. Checks/529 funds can be made payable to “Saint Louis University.” In the check memo line, please list the student's name and Banner ID number.

Address checks/529 funds to:
Saint Louis University
P.O. Box 790165

There is a $25 fee for returned checks and stop payments. Any overpayments made to the student's account are automatically refunded.

Tuition statements are sent after the registration period closes. If you do not receive a statement, please email the 1818 Program Office at 1818@slu.edu to obtain a digital copy.
