Research Interests

Our research explores the integration of entrepreneurial-minded learning (EML) into undergraduate STEM education, particularly within large freshman-level chemistry courses. EML offers a dynamic approach that prepares students for the increasingly complex, interdisciplinary challenges of the postgraduate world. By engaging students in learning modules designed to cultivate creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving skills, EML equips them for success in any career field and fosters innovation in both technology and science.

Additionally, our work addresses the critical link between student well-being and academic success. We focus on developing curriculum that raises awareness of detrimental mindsets, such as perfectionism, comparison, and impostor phenomenon, which often inhibit a growth mindset. By promoting a growth mindset, we encourage students to embrace challenges, learn from their experiences, and build both their abilities and achievements.
