Research Interests

Boyer's empirical focus is that of Implementation Science, a discipline dedicated to investigating healthcare provider adherence to Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and established Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) within the pediatric clinical setting. Drawing from her professional experience as a Pediatric Critical Care Research Nurse and Pediatric Hospitalist - Advanced Practice Provider (APP), she has cultivated a profound interest in Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives within the pediatric inpatient environment. These endeavors are driven by her overarching goal of enhancing care delivery, clinical effectiveness, and overall outcomes for the pediatric population.
