Division of Child Protection

The Saint Louis University Division of Child Protection is home to our Child Protection and Fostering Healthy Children Programs.

Child Protection Program

The Child Protection program utilizes a multidisciplinary approach while providing expert assessment of victims and suspected victims of child maltreatment including physical abuse, sexual abuse, exploitation and neglect. Both inpatient and outpatient consultative services are provided at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.

Fostering Healthy Children Program

The Fostering Healthy Children program utilizes a multidisciplinary approach while providing expert assessment of children entering foster care. The program provides ongoing medical management for enrolled children in concert with state and community agencies. The division interfaces with local providers and community agencies to facilitate the provision of optimal care and services to children.
