Library Access for SLU LAW Alumni
SLU LAW alumni are eligible for access to and on-site use of the Vincent C. Immel Law Library during the library's services hours, after obtaining a SLU ID Guest Access Card.
To obtain a SLU ID Guest Access Card, SLU LAW alumni may complete this online application.
Verification of eligibility may be required. Please allow 7–10 business days for an application to be processed.
Upon approval of an application, the applicant will receive an email with instructions to go to the office of Parking, Card and Transportation Services in the Wool Center, 3545 Lindell Blvd., Suite 130 (on the SLU main campus), during business hours, to obtain a SLU ID Guest Access Card.
Please note the following:
- A SLU ID Guest Access Card grants physical access to the Law Library and only on-site use of its print and available electronic resources.
- Printing and copying services are currently unavailable in the Law Library for SLU ID Guest Access Card holders.
- Card access to Scott Hall is only through the main lobby entrance of 100 N. Tucker Blvd., and to the Law Library on the 6th floor by elevator.
- There is a $25 fee for a replacement card.
- Cards that need to be replaced due to theft or natural wear and tear are free, but a police report number or the worn card is required.
- Cards for SLU LAW alumni are valid for 1 year with renewal available upon reapplication. The reapplication process will not require the obtaining of a new card.
