Office of Communications

The Office of Communications promotes the Saint Louis University School of Law's mission, vision, educational programs and services by providing an integrated communication system through print, the web and other media. The communications team works with faculty, staff and students to inform audiences about the activities of SLU LAW.

Services include:

  • Creation of School of Law internal and external publications, including the alumni magazine, SLU LAW Brief
  • Media relations and publicity for SLU LAW
  • Web content development, hosting and maintenance
  • Event promotion assistance
  • Publicity of advertising and marketing materials for SLU LAW
    Management of the SLU LAW social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Announcement/Calendar Requests

SLU LAW News is emailed to students, faculty and staff every Monday during the fall and spring semesters. The plasma screen runs daily and the web calendar is updated daily. Students, faculty and staff should submit entries for these resources using the announcement form at least two weeks prior to the event. Items appropriate for publication include meetings of student organizations, guest speakers, fundraising activities, conferences and symposia, and other related law school activities. Events deemed appropriate for the entire University will be submitted by the Office of Communications for Newslink, SLU's email newsletter.

Web Update Requests

If you would like to edit an existing web page, report an issue with an existing web page or create a new web page, please email your request to elliot.laurence@slu.edu. This is for law school faculty and staff only.

Media Inquiries
