COVID-19 Update: #CampusClear During Winter Break

Dec. 8, 2020

Dear SLU community members,

With winter break almost upon us, I wanted to share how we will use CampusClear, SLU’s daily symptom checking app and website, between now and the start of the spring term.

If your department or unit uses an alternative to #CampusClear, please continue to follow the relevant guidance for that tool.

If you live, work or learn on campus, you are required to fill out #CampusClear every day. If you are experiencing symptoms, you should stay home and contact either the Student Health Center (314-977-2323) or Employee Health (314-257-8400) immediately.

If you are not living on campus or coming to campus during the winter break, there is no need to fill out #CampusClear. Still, if you are experiencing any symptoms listed in the app, you should either call Student Health, Employee Health or your local healthcare provider immediately so you can be screened and potentially tested for COVID-19. Continue to report any COVID-19 test results you obtain while off campus to either Student Health or Employee Health. You must resume daily use of #CampusClear when you return to campus.

During the break, entry to Simon Recreation Center and Pius Library will continue to require proof you’ve completed the daily symptom check before you are allowed in the building.

Thank you for your continued commitment to your health and that of our community.

Be well,

Jessica Evenson
Vice President for University Compliance and Ethics
