- Child Care Volunteer: Almost Home offers weekly and monthly childcare opportunities for volunteers interested in working with children in a childcare setting. As a part of small group of volunteers, you will play, teach, and care for kids (between the ages of 6 months and 8 years old) while their moms attend life-skills class onsite. The position has flexible commitment requirements and can accommodate personal schedules including single monthly shifts. Hours for childcare are consistent throughout the year except during holidays and special events.
- Front Desk Assistant: Almost Home offers daily volunteer opportunities for volunteers interested in working at our front desk. The Front Desk volunteer is responsible for answering phones, welcoming guests, distributing collateral, assisting members, and regulating entrance to the building.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare meals for moms and their children.

- Food Volunteer. Be a part of helping people have access to affordable and healthy food. STL Food Share Network has free food giveaways almost every day of the week. When a resident is in need of food, we will call you to acquire and deliver food within two days.
- Hospitality Crew: Join a team of experienced volunteers to get rooms ready for new residents! As people move out of Assisi House, we want to make the rooms nice for new folks to move in. This includes moving furniture around, painting, and cleaning. Days and times vary depending on when people move out/in but volunteers will coordinate amongst each other to find a time that works for everyone schedule.
- Accompaniment Volunteer: Volunteers get matched with a resident of Assisi House for the purpose of relationship and accompaniment to walk with residents as they work toward their goals.

Beyond Housing's mission is to strengthen neighborhoods, one family at a time. We do this by providing affordable housing, helping families achieve and sustain homeownership, fostering the well-being of families, and identifying and addressing neighborhood needs.
- Home Repair: Performance of routine property maintenance on single family homes that are included in our "Service Enriched Rental Housing Program" for low-income families. Dates and times are arranged on a project by project basis.

Covenant House Missouri welcomes youth who are runaway, trafficked, at-risk, or experiencing homelessness with unconditional love, absolute respect and a place to call home. Beyond shelter and basic needs, we deliver transformative solutions to help young people ages 16 to 24 build productive, independent and sustainable lives.

DOORWAYS is an interfaith non-profit organization which provides housing and related supportive services to improve quality of life and health outcomes for people affected by HIV/AIDS.

Gateway Homeless Services provides safe, secure and nurturing shelter services that empower homeless women children and families to move into transitional and independent housing.
- Kitchen Aid: Volunteer to help our primary kitchen workers to prepare meals.
- Child Care: Parents attend career development classes and volunteers are needed to play with roughly 30 children.

The Grace and Peace Winter Shelter has been offering temporary, overnight shelter during the colder months to homeless women of St. Louis since 1986.
Volunteers needed to cook and serve meals to homeless women staying at the shelter. Overnight volunteers also needed to assist staff member in overseeing shelter, helping with intake, clean-up, laundry, etc.
Any day of the week, 6 p.m.-9 p.m.. Overnight volunteer works from 6 p.m.-6am. Shelter only open from November thru March.

Serving women who are young, pregnant and homeless, The Haven of Grace provides a safe, nurturing home, educational programs and long-term support for mother and child. Founded in faith, we instill hope, dignity and the pride of independence, one family at a time.

Labre is animated by the central goal of using food as an excuse for relationships. Internally, we as SLU students come together and cook so as to grow in fellowship and community. Missionaries of Charity, a programs sponsored by the Sisters of Blessed Teresa, provide support and outreach to women and children who are experiencing homelessness and poverty.
- After-School Program: Volunteers help assist the sisters with the after-school program for young children. Once children are dropped off from their school, they stay from 3:30 p.m. until around 6 p.m.. We prepare food for the kids, provide activities for the kids to play, provide Catechesis for them, and pray with them.
- Sunday Mass Program: Volunteers help assist and drive kids, several of whom are refugees, from the apartment housing on Hodiamont Ave. to Mass at various Catholic Churches in the city. Volunteers meet the sisters and the children at the housing on Hodiamont Ave. and will drive several kids to Mass at nearby Catholic Churches. Volunteers will help feed the children before or after Mass.
