b) Stroke Neurologist
The successful applicants will be board certified/eligible in neurology with additional fellowship training for the desired position.
The neurointensivist will lead a multidisciplinary team serving primarily neurological patients in the 14-bed NeuroICU at SSM-Saint Louis University Hospital and as a consultant service for other ICU-based teams.
The stroke neurologist will lead a multidisciplinary team that cares for acute stroke patients, including triaging acute ER consults, consults from non-ICU services, and stroke consults from outside hospitals.
Apart from providing excellent patient care, the successful applicant will participate in the educational and research mission of the Department.
